Storm Damages Repairs & Clean Up Updates
Published: August 06, 2024
Thank you for your patience and understanding over the past month as the HOA has worked diligently to address and repair the areas affected by the recent storm. We recognize that this period of cleanup and restoration has been challenging, and we truly appreciate your cooperation and support as we strive to restore the community. Please see the current updates below regarding the repairs & debris clean up.
Fencing repairs:
- The vendor's primary focus in the initial phases of work will be on the following streets: Windmill Farms Blvd, Irongate, Reeder Rd, and Falcon Way. Additionally, a few fences located in easements will also be addressed.
- Major repairs/replacements along Windmill Farms Blvd have been completed and will be going back through to fix minor repairs & stanning.
- This week (beginning 8/5), the fencing crew has been working on the fencing along Reeder Road. Upon completion, they will proceed to the next sections of fencing.
HOA Common area tree debris clean ups:
- Large piles of debris on Shenandoah and Concord will be completed by the upcoming week 8/5.
- Smaller debris piles and areas where tree limbs appear to have been dumped in common areas will also be addressed during the week of August 5th. These areas include the Buckingham Pond area, small pocket parks off Concord, and South Irongate Blvd.
- Please contact your local trash service provider (CDW) for assistance with debris removal from your property.
Sundown Ventures lots:
- Significant amounts of tree limbs and debris remain on these parcels, particularly on South Irongate Blvd and a large section on Shenandoah. The HOA does not have plans to cover removal costs for these parcels and will work to ensure that Sundown Ventures maintains their properties.
- Please contact the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department at 972-932-4337 to report any potential fire hazards.
